Izzy and Dane

Izzy got to play with her boyfriend last night. Our friends Jolie and Randy have a son named Dane that was born just one day before Izzy and those two are so cute together! We have been trying to take pics of them together since the beginning, and hopefully we can continue the tradition. We were able to feed the babies together at their house and both of them absolutely loved eating and sucking on pickles! Thank you Jolie for feeding Brad and I also!!!

Granny's Birthday

Great granny Sommer's birthday party was last Friday. She decided to have it at her house and to cook supper for all of us. (not supposed to cook for your own b-day) The food was good and I know that she loved having Izzy out there. We took a few toys to keep Izzy occupied, but really all she needs is granny. For some reason Izzy just thinks that granny is hilarious everytime she sees her. Izzy cannot stop giggling! We think it might be granny's high pitched voice.

Daddy Starts His New Job

We are going through some major changes in our house right now. Brad had just started a new job driving cross country with stevens transport. He will be gone for several weeks at a time and then home for a few days. Izzy had to give daddy a big hug just before he left for his 3 week long class in Houston. While he is in class he will be able to come home on the weekends but after that he will be gone for 5 weeks straight!

Busy Izzy

Uncle Matt loves to call his neice "busy Izzy" because she is always on the move. She hates to sit still, even to eat. She is constantly wanting to be in the middle of everything and is very observant! She is such a happy and energetic little girl- smiling and showing off her 8 teeth!

Water Baby

Izzy is addicted to the water just like her momma! She never wants to get out, even if it's just taking a bath. Next year I definitely need to sign her up for swim lessons.

July 4th Fun!

Izzy loved her first July 4th and just ate up all the attention she received! Everyone commented on how cute her outfit was and how it made her look like such a big girl. We spent the morning at her first parade in Chappell Hill (and boy was it hot!) Later that day she enjoyed her first taste of watermelon and she just went to town sucking out the juice. Grandpa and nana had a party of "good eats" for supper and then we traveled to Washington on the Brazos for the fireworks. I was really nervous about how she would do with the loud noise, but she was a real trooper and they did not even phase her!
