Aunt Suzanne

My best friend Suzanne who Izzy knows as aunt Suzanne is pregnant! We couldn't be more excited for her and Justin and wish them all the best. I cant wait to meet the little bean in October! I am sending pink dust her way!

Ear Tubes

Yesterday Izzy got tubes in her ears here in Brenham at Trinity hospital by Dr Linden. She did well and we are glad its over! It was a very stressful experience for us, but we know that it will help her tremendously with her ear infections and her hearing. Dr Linden said that she had very thick fluid on both ears. Poor thing has been dealing with ear infections basically since February non stop. I had to snap a few pics of her in the hospital gown before surgery. They gave her a stuffed animal to comfort her.

We had a wonderful Easter! I made cookies (which I never do), we spent lunch at my parents and supper at Brad's parents. Izzy got a sandbox from us along with her nests of goodies, a wagon and Dora suitcase along with more nests of goodies from her nana and grandpa, and several baskets of goodies and dolls from her grammie and granddaddy. She enjoyed the egg hunts and was in a great mood all day! We couldnt have asked for anything more!

Spring Pictures

Saturday we decided to take Izzy for pictures in the bluebonnets. We found a wonderful spot in the country that had a wooden fence in the background and it looked great in the pictures. Besides the bluebonnets we took some in the indian paintbrushes and beautiful purple wisteria. She has turned into such a photogenic little lady! She can really pose and cheese it up now!! It makes the picture taking so much more fun.

Easter Egg Hunt #1

Izzy had her first Easter egg hunt Thursday at her school. Last year she was still too little to hunt eggs, so this year she will have many opportunities to practice. She did pretty good for her first time once she figured out what to do. She loved her bunny basket with her name on it and would not let it go for the rest of the afternoon.
