It's Punkin' Time!

Its that time of the year for the Christ Lutheran Pumpkin Patch! Izzy loved walking on the

haybales and seeing all the different pumpkins. We were so worried that Miss Gabby would

be crying in the pics, but amazingly she did not cry once while were were taking the pictures!

We got some really cute ones of the two sisters. This Halloween will be Gabby's first holiday!

Sunday we had Gabby's baptism at Salem Lutheran. She did wonderful the whole service and so did her big sis.

Her sponsors are Aunt Catherine, and our very good friends Kelly and Doug Sanders

We now officially have a 3 year old on our hands! Last Saturday our princess turned 3 years old! She got sooo many gifts but her favorite is her new make-up vanity that Brad and I got her! Every night she puts on make-up when she gets home!

Izzy and Gabby

Matching little and big sister shirts

Izzy loves to lay under here with Gabby and show her how to play

Izzy playing dress up in my old flowergirl dress

Doesnt she look so comfortable!

Izzy is really doing well with her little sister! She loves to talk to her, kiss her and hold her. The only thing she really doesnt like is when Gabby cries. She gets really irritated! She mentions all the time that she is ready to "play" with her. Gabby attended her first party this past weekend at a baby shower for one of our friends. She is getting bigger and sleeping a LITTLE better now that we are swaddling her. Izzy started her new class at school this week and she loves it. So many new toys and things to see and best of all they have a new bigger playground!

Izzy checking out Gabby at home

Our precious Gabrielle Leann is here! She arrived at 12:46 pm on August 11th. She weighed 7lb 4oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Oddly enough this is the EXACT same weight and length that Izzy was! Everyone just cannot get over that! She also looks very similar to Izzy when she was born. We are now at home and getting into a routine. Izzy is not sure about her yet and doesnt want much to do with her yet. Hopefully she will warm up to her in the next few days. We are all doing well and Im recovering from the surgery. Enjoy some pics for now!

The Time Has Come

Well tomorrow is the BIG day for Gabrielle to arrive! We have a scheduled c section at 1130 am. Brad I think is more nervous than I am. Last time we didnt have time to be scared about a major surgery because it was an emergency one and there was no time to think about it. This time however is different because we know its coming. I am not looking forward to the recovery after the surgery because I remember last time it was tough. I am very excited its finally here though! We are very anxious to see Gabby and see how Izzy reacts to her. Stay tuned for pictures and updates in the coming days!

2 Weeks left!!!

Well as of yesterday we only have 2 weeks left until my scheduled c section on August 11! I will have my last Dr appointment on Tuesday and then we just wait for miss Gabby's appearance. I am busy trying to make sure everything on the to do list gets done (mostly by Brad) and have hired someone to clean our house and carpet. I am way too big and tired and hot and miserable to be doing all of that. Really the only thing I still need to do is pack the hospital bag. Izzy is getting very excited but we think that might change when Gabby is actually here! I think it will be a major adjustment for her. She is not a fan of changes to her routine so it should be interesting! I have been getting her some new toys and movies and plan to give them to her while im in the hospital so she doesnt feel left out.
