Welcome Cooper Bailey Sanders!

 Yesterday morning at 8:10 Cooper arrived weighing 7lbs15oz and 19.6 inches long.  Congrats to Doug, Kelly, and big brother Carson!

I was able to feed him a bottle this morning and he was not thrilled about it but he sure did like me holding him.  He was so snug and sleeping so good- that is until the nurses bothered him!  He is adorable!

Easter 2012

I know I know ... Im late posting these! We had a great Easter this year with both the girls. The night before Easter we went to Brads parents to have some bbq and celebrate with them. Easter morning the girls opened their gifts from the Easter bunny and then we headed to my parents for Easter lunch. Izzy and Gabby got sooo much stuff!

Zoo Trip 2012

Saturday we took Izzy to the Houston Zoo with our friends the Sanders. We headed out first thing in the morning to make sure we got there early before getting so hot. Nane offered to watch Gabby and its a good thing we didnt take her because it was enough to keep up with Izzy and Carson and preggo mama Kelly on her scooter! Plus it got really HOT- like 92 degrees! Too hot for a baby. Izzy had a blast this time and her favorite animal was the elephant. She rode the carousel with daddy and we all watched a 4D Dora and Diego movie complete with splashing water and bubbles coming from the screen.

Bluebonnet Time!

Nane and her girls

Well of course since this is Gabbys first spring we had to take pictures in the bluebonnets. It was a fiasco getting both girls to cooperate and smile in the heat but I snapped the pics as fast as I could! Even with Gabby wondering what in the heck we were doing and Izzy complaining about the heat and sun in her eyes and saying the bluebonnets were itchy, we got some cute ones.

Gabby is 6 Months

Well as of Saturday Gabby turned 6 months already and she had her check up and shots on Valentines Day. She is in the 75th percentile for her height and weight and weighs 17lbs now. We are starting her on the "second" baby foods and cutting back on formula. Gabby has been sitting up for a couple weeks and she is trying so hard to crawl. Hopefully it wont be much longer because she wants to follow her big sis around! Izzy is staying busy with gymnastics and school. She is a ball of energy from wake to sleep!

Gabby and Wyatt

Gabby has a boyfriend and his name is Wyatt Davis. Wyatt's dad Preston and I go way back to when we were this age. Oddly enough they are about the same age apart as Preston and I are. This pic is their first pic together and it was taken at Wyatts baptism. Dont they look adorable!!
